Carpenter
Union carpenter for cast-in-place concrete contractor
Performs skilled carpentry work related to cast-in-place concrete construction, including formwork layout, installation, bracing, stripping, and finishing support. This position requires adherence to union agreements, safety regulations, and quality standards while working efficiently as part of a concrete construction crew on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Current membership in the appropriate Carpenters Union or ability to join
- Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate layout
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working at heights
- Ability to work on elevated decks, scaffolding, and ladders
