Requirements

ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Interprets and applies Federal, Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and Agency and emerging security policies and procedural guidelines related to security related activities. 2. Applies decision making techniques in complex situations to include anticipating and recognizing best practices and choosing options to maximize benefits to the office, directorate, or Agency 3. Allocates and delegates available resources to peers to accomplish project deliverables in timely and effective manner. 4. Works as a team member and leader, taking responsibility for sharing command knowledge, information, and responsibilities with coworkers, subordinates, and superiors. 5. Makes insightful, well-reasoned, and timely decisions by assessing the relevance and impact to the organization. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Knowledge of personnel security program, background investigations, granting and removing accesses, due process requirements for adverse clearance actions and collateral security to provide guidance to maintain certification of collateral spaces and security containers. 2. Experience working military construction, SCIF renovation projects, working knowledge of technical security, coordinating Technical Security Countermeasure (TSCM) inspections, TEMPEST Compliance and/or experience working in a NATO or multi-national security environment. 3. Solid understanding of collateral security to provide guidance to Directorate or Division security managers and/or experience in maintaining certification of collateral spaces and security containers.
