Please download an application here or stop by the office during normal business hours to pick up an application. After the application is processed, applicants may be called to schedule an appointment to take the basic math test, which will be held the 3rd Wednesday of every month. After successful completion of both, the applicant may be called in to interview with the Apprenticeship Recruitment team. Applicants are scored based on the following:

  • Educational Achievement

  • Work Experience

  • Seniority (years of employment with the sponsoring firm)

  • Job Aptitude

  • Ability to communicate

  • Willingness to accept the obligation of Apprenticeship

  • Ability to reason and comprehend

  • Interest and motivation

Interviewed applicants will then be placed on an Apprenticeship Rank List with the highest scoring applicant ranked first. The rank list is continually updated and, should apprentices be called, calling will start from the top of the list. The list of candidates will remain effective for a maximum of one (1) year, in which an applicant will have to re-apply should they still want to be considered for the Apprenticeship Program.
